To develop the expertise of Talan employees, "communities" have been organized around businesses, technologies and work methods. The objective is to enable everyone to deepen their knowledge and share it, regardless of their professional maturity. All the communities have the same ambition: to find the methods, practices and expertise of tomorrow, to experiment with them, industrialize them and train Talan consultants.
Today, 4 communities are active: the SM - Agile Coach Community, the Testing Community, the Product Community and the Change Community. Two are in the incubation phase and will be operational very soon: PMO (Product Management Office) and Atlassian. All of these communities are supported by 2 transversal teams : the Incubation team and the Communication team. Each of these communities is animated by a "hard core" (the "coreteam") whose objective is to capitalize on the knowledge of each person, to follow the evolution of their profession, to formalize offers, to list the good project practices, to organize and deliver training. In this way, they offer mentoring, monitoring and exchanges, research projects, expert recruitment, development of new offers, etc. They act on short-term needs (e.g., responding to questions in the urgency of customer projects) as well as on longer-term needs (e.g., increasing competence and professional development through training). In addition, the communities provide its members with deliverable models and methodological sheets that are real daily help.
More than a hundred employees have joined forces and are bringing this new way of working together and experiencing one's job to life. Almost every day, new people join this movement and make the communities a real success in motion.
