Job Description

The Business Manager in the CIO Office of a Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) will support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in managing and optimizing the IT department’s operations. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, and project coordination to ensure the IT transformation for more efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with the bank’s business goals. Host workshops and encourage IT leaders on the Strategic plan ownership/
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgeting and financial analysis for the IT department.
  • Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with IT ManCo to enhance contract management.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the performance of IT initiatives and projects. 
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT operations and projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business management within a financial institution (minimum 7 years).
  • Strong capacity to work autonomously with a great proactivity,  analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and project management tools.
