Talan obtains approval from the CNIL for its "Binding Corporate Rules" to secure data transfers within its group.
Paris, October 3, 2024 - Following a favorable opinion from the 27 European data protection authorities, the TALAN Group is proud to have obtained approval from the CNIL for its Binding Corporate Rules (referred to as "BCR-ST") as a data processor of personal data. TALAN thus joins the exclusive circle of 15 French groups with BCR-STs approved by the CNIL, including 5 in its sector, and becomes part of the 51 global groups with BCR-STs.
These Binding Corporate Rules constitute a comprehensive compliance program that ensures a very high level of protection for data transfers within the entities of the TALAN group, whether these transfers occur within or outside the European Union (EU).
Obtained after an exhaustive and rigorous process, the approval of TALAN Group's BCRs demonstrates its commitment to enhanced data protection across the group, as well as its ability to meet the expectations and requirements of its clients and partners regarding the protection of personal data.
"Through the BCR-ST program, the Group creates a secure environment for the transfer of personal data between the various companies within the Group. As data is at the heart of the projects we deliver, it was crucial for us to provide our clients with solid mechanisms to protect privacy and personal data. This approval highlights the expertise and diligence of the TALAN Group in processing personal data and complying with GDPR governance"
François Dugave, Group Legal Director.
